Green Gingersnap Smoothie

This is an amazing post-workout, or in need of “life” recovery smoothie with carbohydrates and protein to refuel tired muscles. The spinach and molasses contain lots of energy-building iron and the ginger helps to promote healthy digestion. And the best part of all? It tastes like a gingersnap cookie without the gluten .

Ingredients

  • 3-4 ice cubes

  • 1”- 1 ½” ginger, peeled

  • ½ tsp. vanilla

  • ½ banana

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder

  • ¼ cup raw, unsalted cashews

  • 1 tbsp. blackstrap molasses

  • 2 cups raw spinach

  • unsweetened vanilla almond milk, enough to blend

Instructions

  1. Blend all ingredients in a high-powered blender.

Pour into a big chilled glass and enjoy!
